Parent Participation Preschool

Queen's Park Preschool is a “Parent Participation Preschool” (PPP). A PPP is a non-profit preschool owned and operated by the Parents of the children registered and attending the preschool and whose program requires the orientation, regular participation, and on-going education of the Parents. Queen's Park Parent Participation Preschool (QPP) is staffed by two supervisors (the “3's” teacher - Teacher Barb and the “4's” teacher - Teacher Jessica) who are both trained in Early Childhood Education (ECE) and approved by the Community Care Licensing Board.

Parent involvement is critical to the functioning of our school.

Family

Our focus in on the family. Because parents are the principal influence in a child’s development, our goal is to have children, parents, and teachers working together as a team.

Community

Our commitment is to the community. We bring families, teachers, and community members together in the spirit of teaching our children the value of cooperation, respect, and responsibility.
